Handwashing Haiku

Since 2014 I've been participating in GISH. It's a scavenger hunt where participants all over the globe are challenged to do weird and kind challenges. This year a mini hunt was added to help everyone during this global pandemic.

Reading through the list yesterday there were dozens of exciting, challenging, and quirky challenges, but only one I knew I had to do. I present to you item #54: "Write a moving handwashing haiku. Post it above your bathroom sink. - Ashlynn A."
A white bathroom sink, with a poem in a blue bubble taped to the mirror above it.
In a blue bubble, the words: let the hot water / run away with your microbes / and anxieties
